Seasons Sunrise ans Sunset Time Tweaks

In seasons, EA set the default day-night length to summer.
In Spring and Fall, sunrise is 1 hour late and sunset is 1.25 hours earlier.
In Winter, sunrise is 2 hour late and sunset is 2.5 hours earlier.

Which means....if the default sunrise time is 6 am and sunset time is 18 pm then.....
In Spring and Fall, sunrise will be at 7 am and sunset at 16:45 pm.
In Winter, sunrise will be at 8 am and sunset at 15:30.
We only get shorter daytime, but not a longer one in summer.

Here I found the item to tweak the offset of sunrise and sunset in each season.

Clear Water Drops (Default Replacement)

EA's default water drop is too bright and opaque...... and too big for umbrella and wet sims.....
So I just adjusted the transparency and size and brightness.

Environment Lighting Tweaks Updated to v4.0

Updated to v4.0

I'm satisfied with the color now.
However, there's some limits when game rendering the color gradient at night so this is also my limit that I can accept the new grey and blue night settings. Otherwise the sky will look too bright and no good at night.

This ENV Lighting Tweak will not be updated for a long time...I guess.
(But every time I said this, I updated it the next day...... )

Environment Lighting Tweaks v4.0 Released

*V5.0 GOLD released. Quite different from v4.0. You can take them as totally different ENV Lighting tweaks.

I will be happy if you tell people that you're using my ENV Lighting when you post your pictures.

2012.11.28 New color setting Added. Brighter Night

Changes in v4.0
Lowered down Highlight/Shadow contrast of Overcast and Stormy weather.
Increased color saturation of Darker Water a little back.
Lightened up the cloud luminosity a little in the nighttime.
Parameter controlling the cloud changed a little.
Changed for less bloom in both "Higher bloom" and "Lower bloom" settings.
Added two sky color variations in the night, Grey and Blue night, which are still very dark.
(These two color variations give sky reflection to water, so it will not be totally black as v3.0. In blue night setting, very little blue tint is added to the ambient light.)
Color settings are now separated into two parts, Color and Weather.
Added settings that remove the custom weather (Aurora).

Playing with Debug Enabler

By using NRaas debug enabler you can easily change objects (which are changeable) and SIMs into sculpture.
Soon will Seasons come so I just made a scene mimic the ice palace.
And a new SIM, Lady Snow.

And I added title for our SIM forum in Taiwan.

Live Mode Camera Mod Fixed and Modified (1.55 updated)

Fix and modify cmomoney's live mode camera mod (only for low level version)

2013.6.25 Updated for patch 1.55 (EA Added settings for World Isla Paradiso)

Lost of WA world settings which caused very short view distance in map view mode. Added back.

General Worlds:
In Live Mode, zoom distance in shortened from 3.125 to 0.01. (cmomoney default)
In Live Mode, maximum zoom height is risen from 110 to 700. (cmomoney default)
In Map View, zoom height is risen from 750 to 900.

WA Worlds:
In Live Mode, zoom distance in shortened from 3.125 to 0.01.
In Live Mode, maximum zoom height is risen from 110 to 500.
In Map View, zoom height is risen from 750 to 900.

Isla Paradiso (1.55)
In Live Mode, zoom distance in shortened from 3.125 to 0.01.

The Water Elemental--Undine

Sorry guys, this one is not for sharing.....
Just playing with chaos fog emitter + blue skin + special make-up + bloodstain in different color.

Well, somebody think the female eyelashes are a little too short.
So I added a longer version (not too much).
And another version without EA iris. Can be compatible with some small iris DR eyes.

Short Eyelashes (Face Overlay Default Replacement)

EA's eyelashes are horrible.
They're just too straight and too long....especially for female.
Actually in fact, some males have longer eyelashes than females, like myself.

We all know S-Club made a eyelash remover.
However it just removed all the eyelashes, and NPC or some SIMs without eyelashes looked horrible, too.
So here I made short eyelashes for male and female.
The bending of the eyelashes also has been modified, so it looked much more natural.
And they work good with S-Club 3D eyelashes.

Recommend: Smaller Iris from #aWT Eyeball

Well.....the eyeball of EA is really stupid BIG....
I recommend you to use aWT's eyeball as default....
However, due to some issues, the eyeball is set to SimSkin shader and will not glow when turning into vampire or ghost.

So... if you
  Want smaller iris
  Want glowing vampire eyes
  Don't mind the eyeball sliders made by aWT become non-functional.
You can follow this tutorial to change it back to SimEyes.

Two Color Real Eye (Default Replacement, HD 2048) (Now V3)

**An glowing outer stroke issue has been fix.**

A default replacement two color real eye in 2048x2048 texture size.

In game picture taken in HD 4096.....

But if you only use HD 2048, it will show like this.....
The detail is still blended.....
This story tells us....there's no need to draw texture in 4096x4096 in some situation.....
And...even drawn in 2048x2048 and use HD 2048...it still shows like 512....

Another thing is....I'm unable to play game in normal 1024.....Because the original file has been replaced...

Starlight Pool Lamp

Well.....I always want to build a swimming pool like this...

However, it's impossible to use only the light to accomplish this in SIMS 3 because the water only reflect to the surrounding light.
But I found out some methods....

Area Light Category Change

Not something very special...but useful maybe....
I just changed the OBJD of the area light so you can also find them in the Lighting/Lighting Misc. No need to enter "buydebug".
Easier to use with my IVL sets.

You still can find them in buydebug.

**This is a default replacement mod.**

***Again, area lights are updated as base game objects. NO need of World Adventure.***

Invisible Lights Set 2 (IVL Set 2)

Another set of the invisible lights.
Set 2 contains....
Three horizontal spot light. (Super 15°, Spot 35° and Wide 70°)
Wide spot light with falloff degree of 70° (Ceiling, Down, Up, Floor)
Three liftable horizontal lights. (Different height)
And a point light with very low intensity, called Star.

Invisible Lights Set 1 (IVL Set 1) (8/8 Update, Category changed)

(Please update the file if they are in the categorized in outdoor lighting. )

Sometimes you'd like to light up something, but you don't want to shot the lamp in your photos.
Of course we can use the area light in buydebug to do this.
(The area light in Taiwanese translation is "Tomb Light")
However, the area light just is a plane light, with only vertical and horizontal facing directions
So here I made some invisible lights.

These lights were made by cloning the area light, changing the angle, height and size of the object mesh, and replacing the LITE profile.

There are Spotlight (falloff degree 35), Super Spotlight (falloff degree 15), point light.
And the directions are Ceiling, 45 degree down, 45 degree up and Floor lights.
Up and Floor lights can be placed on table.
(All the lights can be placed on OMSP with normal function. But not the OMSP Resizer)

My Own BW Cube

A house for myself....my dream house

Black and white are my most favorite colors.
They are so pure and I love them so much.
In this house, almost the colors are black, white and some are grey.
Decorated with blue water and a few green plants.
A simple cube house for singles.

Male Rectus Abdominis Muscle Definition V3 -- Default Replacement

In this version, I just did some distortion of original EA cutness map.
You can see I narrowed down the upper side of the six-pack a little, and adjusted them more spherical. I also narrowed down the whole six-pack verry little.

And in game....

**This is a default replacement of the texture of muscle definition slider.
Just simply paste it to your mods\package folder.
Delete any of my previous version, since this one is also a DR.**
**This muscle cutness normal map is different from body normal map. They SURELY can be used together.**

I only changed the rectus abdominis part.

Medieval Sword N1 and N2

I need some medieval swords to make story. There is one on MTS but the position is somehow not good and not reflective. So, here I made a sword.
Because of the EA limitation of shader......I tried lots of methods to made a reflective one.
And finally I changed the shader to "Phong" and it showed very good result! However, changing the shader made it un-recolorable in CAS. So I made a recolorable transparent membrane to cover on it. I tried my best to make the membrane almost unnoticeable.

So here are 3 versions of the sword.
N1: All Recolorable, only specular on the blade, no reflection.
N1 Shine: "Phong" shader, Reflective, Un-recolorable on the blade (gray).
N2 Shine: Membrane covered. All Recolorable.

The left one is specular only.
The right one is "Phong" shader.

The red leaves effect is created by Chaos Effect Emitter,
by simply applying red color and increased emitrate to the original "leaves" effect.
I also decreased a little of the particle size so the leaves were smaller.

OMSP Resizer (2013/2/10 FTPT & OBJD fixed)

*This stuff is based on OMSP (granthes) and OPHs, OE & OR (sims_reality).*

I found OE and OR are pretty useful, but hard to use with something.
So I just simply changed its script to OMSP and it worked.
I decided to made some variants with different scales.
Also I made new mesh for this one to mimic OMSP,
and overlay map to mark their scales.
Some parameters are also fixed and modified.

The upper-right is the original OMSP by granthes.
Others are nine OMSP Resizers I made.
Four reducers (25%, 33%, 50%, 75%)
and five enlargers (125%, 150%, 200%, 300%, 400%).

Looking For Help!!!

I got some technical problem in converting the mesh into MLOD.
If you are interested in doing this for me, please contact me.
There are two meshes I want to convert into Decor for the new CC set (the cursing set).
Meshes (blender file and obj file available) and Texture are done. Only conversion needed.
I didn't use TSRW to make my CCs.
TSRW never ate my mesh. It crashed every time I imported my mesh....

Loss of Muscle Definition Issue

Cmar answered me:
"The loss of muscle definition in some non-default skins is because they use an old format. Newer skins should have the muscle definition whether or not they include a normal map. Old skins can be converted to the new format using Skininator."

So if you're using old format, try to convert them to new version.

Keratin Normal Map Preview (Still in the very beginning)

Just a preview of the keratin project.
Sine texture on the base skin will give very very very very very BAD appearance.
So I changed to use the normal map.

I just simply added the keratin texture to do displacement in blender, and baked to normal map. No other adjustment yet.
You may see some distortion in the face region other than keratin because of the procedure I used. I will use other procedure to prevent these.
Still in the VERY BEGINNING of this project.

New Pose -- Abe Takakazu Yaranaika (Requested by my friend)

I don't know if you know about Abe Takakazu. (阿部高和)
He was just a character of gay comics by Yamakawa Junichi. (山川純一)
But the
"U-ho!  Nice guy!" (ウホッ!いい男!)
"You want to make love?" (やらないか)
is so classical thus he become very famous and well known in Japan.

So my friend requested this pose.
Since it's simple, I made it in only 15 minutes.
